At the end of this month of June I will be in Madrid talking about the MamaceraM process. I will be hand in hand with Fundesarte and OEPM.

Fundesarte helps craft companies develop and promote

OEPM is the Spanish patent and trademark office.

They have come together to create an informative brochure that they have called “How to protect crafts” whose purpose, and I quote literally, “is to raise awareness among artisans and companies in the craft sector of the importance of protecting their creations and increasing the use of industrial property as part of its business strategy, which will result in greater competitiveness, economy and prestige ”

I imagine that they come from a need and a problem when an artisan faces the business world. Because depending on how you look at it, they can even be antagonistic worlds. I see myself doing “business work” when in reality I would like to be dedicating myself more to the artisan part of my company. And not only that, every piece that leaves the hands of any artisan must be cared for and protected. This is a world where copying is too much the order of the day. And many times, a bad copy where your work is greatly affected. For all this (and more like competing with prices, etc.) I imagine that this idea of protecting craftsmanship was born.

Lala de Dios, whom I hope to meet, has been the person in charge of “collecting” information on artisan companies that have followed some registration process, whether brand, utility or design. It is at this point where he found me and my product. Because yes, MamaceraM is a registered trademark and the utility model is also registered (in case there are any doubts)

They contacted me to go to Madrid on June 30 to talk about my company, my project and the registration process. Because it is a path that you often do alone, you have to have blind faith in your product and a lot of patience to fill out forms, knock on doors…

So, those of you who are in Madrid on the 30th, see you at 12:30 at the OEPM headquarters.

Until then, Happy Breastfeeding!
